Hey all!

I am hoping anyone on here might have personal experience with the above mentioned 4x4s - might be a long shot.

I am currently driving a Hilux SRX 4x4 (donkey) and besides the sluggish motor it is a great tough 4x4 for what it is. I may be looking at another 4x4 but at the moment I am just trying to gather some info and personal experience that some people may have concerning these 4x4s.

I have taken a look at the prices and it seems that the Defender is crazy expensive relative to the LC and Rubicon... why and is it worth it?

Thanks again and I hope there may be someone with 4x4 knowledge/experience that could assist me on here.

I wouldn't touch either the 86 or the Jeep. Jeep are badly made.

My dad was looking at a 4X4 and came to the conclusion that a 4X2 with a lockable differential would suffice for off-road and cost far less.
