Hi, I tried to uninstall a copy of Paragon HFS+ I recently installed on a new laptop as it as the wrong version.

It hung at 99% for a while and I cancelled it (bad move, doh!) as I thought it was frozen.

Now I cannot uninstall the software. The bar rises and then shrinks when in add/remove software.

Do I have to do registry edit or something? How do I remove this software now?

Might be stating the obvious here, but have you tried a system restore?

This may be obvious but did you try to delete the physical folder yet? The install check may be as simple as checking for the default folder.

Might need to procmon to see what its checking before it fails you out

I tried this after initially using Revo uninstaller which deleted bunch of registry entries, and I still couldn't install a newer version as it said there was one still installed.
Check program data i think its called you will have to untick hidden files and select show system files. There is probably a folder in there.
