Wondering if there is any solution to high latency internationally

Asking knowing i cant ever get low low numbers (sub 160ms at best) but over the last few weeks I've noticed my normal 170/180/190ms to Frankfurt (For example) is sitting at 220/230ms
I've tried all the usual things (Exitlag/VPN, etc, etc) tried getting ISP to reset ports
I've noticed during non peak times my ping is fine at 170ms

Tried both Coolideas and Webafrica.

Any one suggest something to even another ISP to try that might have better routing ?

Think best to let us know for what game or what site/web address you testing with. That way a few of us can test and see what our isp pings are like.

Okay my pings currently are between 180 to 300 to both Landon and Frankfurt and I'm on Openserv

Have you tried moving your router closer to the server to see if that helps?

RSAWeb from CPT

London - 142ms
Frankfurt - 150ms
Madrid - 129ms
Strasbourg - 154ms
Moscow - 210ms
Glasgow - 137ms

Your ISP is likely using a cheaper path to an IX to benefit from free peering at the expense of latency to save costs on transit.

Observe three different networks. Test conducted within the same minute.

Vox: 172ms
Afrihost: 160ms
Vodacom: 137ms

Also take note on the number of hops. Vodacom took 9, Afrihost 14, Vox needed 16.

From Gauteng to Portugal.

The above is correct ...Also had the same issue on Mweb
The Service provider and the routing is the issue ...
I changed my Service provider and still remained on the same fibre ,Metrofibre and never had any lag issues
