Good day fellow Carbies.
I am a ODL (open distance learning) university student studying at Unisa for a National Diploma: Electrical Engineering-Electronics and Electronic communications. I have completed my theoretical modules and now only need to complete my P1 and P2 in-service training/experimental training as per academic requirement in order to graduate. I have have been try my darndest to find somewhere that would accommodate my training or do an internship, but either they don't return my emails and ignore me or they unfortunately can not help me. I have also registered with SAIEE (South African Institute of Electrical Engineers) for some assistance, but communication from them is either slow or non-existent.
I am at my wits end and to make matters worse my course is phasing out at the end of next year.
If there is anyone that maybe could point me in the right direction, has some advice or knows of a place that does internships/training it would really be appreciated. Doesn't matter where, as I am kind of desperate at this point and can't really pick and choose, although the Western Cape would probably be preferable as I have family there.
