Description of Bad Deal: @Colonel Sanders Was helping me to buy a new CPU and MOBO and found this combo as it was it a good price and @Colonel Sanders could vouch for me, so Colonel made a WhatsApp group for myself, Colonel and Alfodr, as soon as we got in contact with him he was already very defensive when we wanted to test the components before buying, as this should be standard procedure. On the day of the collection, we were 15 minutes late for the agreed time as there was load shedding (which we let him know of) and we caught dead robots, during this rush he told us that he's leaving very soon so we could not draw money before we left (as we had to draw money so that we could collect the product if we are happy with it), so on arrival 15 minutes late, my friend started to look at the components as I went to draw money. I got to the ATM and the most I could draw was 5k. I asked him if it was okay if I EFT him the rest in front of him, he agreed after a very long time as he was in the bathroom for very long. I get back pay him in cash and then the Standard Bank app went offline and I could not EFT the money. He proceeded to accuse me of lying until he checked that Standard Bank was actually offline. Luckily someone I could pay back later, paid him the rest and after a few karma lectures from him we left. Just not a great experience.
As I got home and started to deeply look at the PC, all of the so called "Corsair" Fans were all CoolerMaster Fans 5 RGB, and 2 Standard. This was a Corsair case and must of had Case fans with it which he said was included, but only CoolerMaster case fans were there so he obviously took them for himself. Between the CoolerMaster Air Cooler "Stock cooler"(in AD), and the fan was this black sticky paste (looks like car oil) which was actually hidden on all of the black CoolerMaster fans and even a bit on the motherboard. It has taken me days to decontaminate this stuff. Paste was left on the bare AIO, which does not have the box even thought he photo he included there was a box. One of the RGB CoolerMaster fans' RGB is not working. There could be more but I have not even checked because everything is so dirty, Ive only cleaned the stuff I am going to use so far. The Corsair case "modified for airflow" means that blue/maybe RGB logo is ripped out and completely missing and the top piece of the case is also ripped out, but loosely present. The stock CoolerMaster case fans don't even match each other. Some of the fans had makeshift clips on them to clip onto the heat fins. The "Turbo m.2" M.2 heatsink was tossed into motherboard box and was very dirty on the thermal pad. Some missing screws as well which I salvaged from my case and motherboard stuff etc.
I first gave him a rating not explaining all of this, even saying that at least the cpu and motherboard works and I gave him a neutral rating. And now he gives me a NEGATIVE rating and says completely irrelevant and false things, such as, it did not take hours to transfer funds, it took about 10 minutes to retry the standard bank app a few times and then give up and instantly phone someone to eft the money immediately. His rating on me is completely unfair. He was not even honest in his AD about what the product was and what was included as the brand cannot be easily seen on the fans and the black goo was on black fans, as he was severely rushing us, we could not inspect much further, so we just made sure the cpu and motherboard was working and left.
