How to use xcloud - Game Pass Ultimate - in SA?

Anyone found a way to use xCloud which is part Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I don't have a decent gaming machine so was hoping to try cloud gaming.

Any help would be great.

Not available in sa yet. Microsoft need to activate it but i think it has to do with the icasa license being rediculas in sa that they havent activated it yet

Can be done if you use a VPN to UK / Italy. But even if you have a great internet connection, the input latency will render it basically unusable on any game requiring fast reactions. Any racer or shooter is not playable. Slower games, like XCOM or turn based games are the only viable games to play at the moment with this solution until Microsoft makes it available locally.

i tried geforce now, games running at 1080p60 when streamed feels like 30fps with all that latency

i am in Durban. i wonder how it feels closer to the servers?

What I have tested since posting, in case anyone comes to this later....

- Created an SA about on Microsoft with SA payment method.
- Connect to vpn in US, then load up the game.
- Little after I disconnect from vpn and carry on playing.

I was doing this though a vm because I have m1 mac and Xbox 360 controller. It was very laggy.

I will try windows and post update when not using vm.

Are the game servers even in South Africa or are you just a bunch of retards trying to play a cloud based game from US servers?
