How much should I pay for a scratched Apple Watch 4

Howsit,

A guy from work is asking if I want to buy his Apple Watch series 4 (Cellular & GPS), because he knows I'm interested in getting one. Only problem is, it has a few small scratches (which can probably be buffed out) and one large-ish scratch down the middle that looks a little too deep to easily be fixed. Not noticeable when the screen is on though.
How much would you say is reasonable for this device in this condition? Is there any cheapish way I can fix the scratch?

No way to fix the scratched Glass - Also depends on size(40/44mm).

If you do end up buying the watch or if the current owner allows you to try and remove the scratches before you buy:

Do not try to buff out the scratches with any method that would generate heat. It will harm the watch.
When I scratched my Gear Sport, I've done a lot of research on it and took it to quite a few jewelers to see if they could buff out the scratch or at least get it less noticeable. Nobody would touch it.
I've found that the gel screen protectors do a good job at hiding scratches. Perhaps worth a try first.
