Hey all

I need help figuring out what mods I should get for my computer, I really wasn't in the mood to going out and just buying one, I rather decided to build it myself. Keep in mind I am very new to pc modding and have been on Xbox mainly

With that out the way. I just need some help figuring out where to start, I'm not looking at having a high speed insane pc, just something to enjoy a smoother no lag experience, gaming wise I'm not heavenly into it on pc but Warcraft and LOL i love playing, and obviously to keep the gf happy SIM 3. I managed to pick up a pc for a good price to carry on with the usual but it way to slow, so now it's time to get it upgraded

With that in mind what should I be looking at getting that won't break the bank?

Thanks in advance all

think you have MODDING mistaken for UPGRADING

although adding RGBs will definitely give you about 144fps :p :D

Hahaha as I said really new to this so what upgrades should I be looking at?

Cheap & but good performance:

2nd -4th gen i5 / i7, preferable a K model for OC'ing.
mobo for CPU (Z67/Z77 for 2nd and 3rd gen ; Z97 for 4th gen. There are otherchipsets buit these are the top tier ones.).
8GB RAM to get you started. Some games do make use of > 10GB, IE GTA 5.
GTX 1060 6GB or if you can 1060.
Decent quality 80+ Bronse PSU. Stick to Corsair, Seasonic, SupoerFlower. Some CoolerMaster are decent, some are utter kak.
120GB Samsung SSD (ideally 250GB Samsung 850 Evo)
case of choice (Avoid the newer coolermaster cases, many reputable reviewers have negative reviews).

This should set you back < R12k.
