HELP, is there a way i can find if a car has been scarpped

hey guys

so a couple of years ago i adopted a project car, i was young and stupid and the car was in a bad way, the owner promised me papers and whatnot, but never delivered...

the car was beyond saving and has been sitting for a while, not i have recuperated financially and have gotten my hands on another car, in much better condition, but the old car is in my way...

i suspect the old car was scrapped before i even got it, is there some way i can find out if this is the case?

i need the damn thing gone...

Go pull history on the car at lic dept.

Personally, i would strip it down, sell as parts, and sell the rest as scrap metal

Give it a good beating if it's not in bad shape already and then show them that it's beyond economical repair

Its a datsun 280zx, trust me ill be selling pretty much every part but the chassis itself (which is rusted right through the frame rails...

People may be interested in fenders, glass, etc.
I would advertise it as stripping for spares.

Ill advertise it as such, but one of the things the guy i bought it from promised me and never delivered were the fenders... Glass is extra fucked, well i suppose the side windows are okay...
