 Powered by Unreal Engine 4

"Hell Let Loose is a platoon-based realistic multiplayer first-person shooting game for PC set during the Second World War." More detailed info below:

Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackmatter/hell-let-loose
Website: https://www.hellletloose.com

Finally decent WW2 game with 100 players, not arcade arena shooter.

On paper, Hell Let Loose is a realistic multiplayer World War Two combined arms first person shooter of open battles of up to 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery and a shifting front line. At it’s core is a unique resource-based strategic meta-game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Hell Let Loose is available for backing again on their site. If you want to get into the alpha/beta and missed the kickstarter...

Game looks good

I see its up again on their website to buy to get access to the Closed Alpha & Closed Beta. Bought the game Yesterday

Looks cool but Unreal runs like garbage and this still looks like a million years away.

Closed Alpha is Q1 2018 according to the Devs, I joined their discord channel and the "rumors" are around end March :)

Have atleast one friend who has been bugging me to pick this, if it's anything like squad it should be epic.

We will find out in March. Ive seen some gameplay of Post Scriptum (other WWII game) and it looks great.

looks good but 24USD for alpha is a bit steep.

Well if you think that's steep, what about paying $60 for shit like BF1 or any AAA game for that matter.
Almost every single EA (Early Access title...Not Satan) I've bought turned out great, the one exception being DayZ.

These are just a few that I've played and love, all of them early access titles and all of them coming in under $30...Some coming in at $20.

Subnautica
Grim Dawn
Besiege
Ark Survival Evolved
Squad
Pubg (Love hate relationship...but still a ton of fun)
7 Days to die
Rust (Love hate relationship, but still a fun game, especially with friends)

So closed Alpha is around the corner. ETA is before the end of March so will prob get my key within the next two weeks. Cant wait :)

There is a MASSIVE difference in the quality of game you are getting though. Say what you want about EA (Satan), BF1 is still a beautiful game that is optimized pretty dam well.

My experience with Early Access hasnt been as good as yours but its really subjective. I personally get really annoyed with loads of bugs in games. But I am also still just burned from DayZ.

So I played the game over the weekend. What a fantastic experience, game looks awesome for an Alpha and its something entirely different to what I am used to. At this stage we only have infy gameplay but vehicles will be added in the beta I guess. The sound is amazing and the map is massive. They truly have a gem here and lets hope the Devs can build on this platform to produce a A+ game around the end of the year.

If anyone has an ALPHA key, let me know so we can squad up...

I tried it for a few minutes, running around empty flat fields got boring fast. I'll keep trying throughout the alpha and hope they'll add rudimentary transport and maybe a map with at least some sort of terrain variance.

Anyone still playing this?? Wondering how the progress is coming, I see it on reddit and twitter every now and again and wonder if it'd be worth diving into?
