Don't see much of an issue with Sennheiser's design choices there. As you say it is not a common design feature to have a detachable cable with a wireless headphone. So there is no standard. What I find completely bewildering is the lack of a standard for "balanced" headphone connectors ... 4 pin XLR, dual 3 pin XLR, TRRS 3.5, dual TRS 3.5, dual TRS 6.35, pentacon. Now there is a cause worthy getting worked up about ... And I would if I cared even the slightest bit about the fad that is "balanced" headphone drive.
you forgot 2.5mm TRRS and nowadays also 4.4mm TRRS in your list
@Cassady - AKG do allow you to use a 2.5mm jackpin to 3,5mm jackpin to interface wired with their wireless headphones - so you can use any standard wire that you can get from anywhere as long as it has a 2.5mm jack on one side to a 3.5mm jack on the other
