Hey carbies
Bought a GTX 1060 from a carb member and only the DP's are working not the HDMI or DVI, have tried the following without success:
Cleaning with alcohol
Booting off only the hdmi/dvi
Trying two monitors DP with HDMI/DVI
Different monitors, different motherboard

Member says it was working before so any advice would be appreciated

plug both in & pull dp when you have display/in windows?
had some cards that don't display even though the ports work.

I've had 2 1060s hdmis pack up. Had to RMA them both. Is it a MSI card?

When I plug in both only the monitor with dp picks up, even tried detecting more monitors but nothing only the one monitor.
When I remove the DP with both in and in windows they just both stay blank

Used 3 different monitors:
Mecer A2056 is the one I use the most with HDMI/DVI

Will also try it on my TV

Perfectly possible for ports to go bust, have a gt610 with a working dvi and hdmi but the vga (analogue of all things) is bust. If the dvi and the hdmi are both not working (but displayport works), there is a possibility there is a separate mux/demux audio/visual chip which has gone bad, the chip controls the stream output directly to the hdmi and dvi ports. Here is an example:

Explanation here (scroll 7/8 down to output):

Not saying it is the case but it's a possibility.
