Hi all,

I hand-make customisable pixelated geek merchandise. Because my artwork is customizable, I can make nearly anything imaginable. I make keyrings, necklaces, wearables, puzzles, display pieces, and more. If you would like to request a custom designed piece, I do not charge extra to draw up the design.
I currently cater to the following fandoms, but am always adding to my range of items:

*The Elder Scrolls (Oblivion and Skyrim)
*Dota II
*League of Legends
*CS:GO
*Star Wars
*Fallout series
*Mass Effect
*Mario & other vintage console classics (Space Invaders etc)
*Legend of Zelda
*Pokémon

Please note that these creations are big. Each pixel is 0.5cm big - so I can't guarantee a detailed 2cm artwork when the smallest possible detailed work is at least 5cm :) (Also please note that all of my work is pixelated, as shown in pics)

FAQ:

*Where can I see your products?
I have made a Youtube video with all the stock I sold this year: Final 2016 Products Showreel - YouTube
My range is too large to upload a single set of images, so please feel free to view the page or the Youtube video. I have a Facebook page over here: Pixl8 | Facebook

*How much do you charge?
Prices range due to availability of materials (right now I am importing from Amazon), the size of the piece, and the amount of time it takes. To give an idea, a small Pokéball keyring costs R20, and the largest standalone piece I have in stock right now (the detailed Skyrim dragon) costs R150.
However, I am still working on my human portrait and very detailed artwork techniques so those will be charged at a higher rate due to the amount of time it takes to make the pieces.

*What delivery options do you offer?
I offer delivery around Johannesburg (I'm on the West Rand and on a small motorbike so reasonable distances (i.e 30km north, east or south) are free. You can also pick up. I also offer Aramex (overnight) shipping on all orders for R99 (this includes the entire order).

*How long will my art take to arrive?
I try to finish and ship out all orders within four days of the customer placing the order. This is slightly longer during univeristy exams, or in peak times when many orders are placed. I keep the customer updated on the progress of their order. This means that I exchange pictures before fusing the artwork to make sure that the customer is entirely satisfied with the product. If there is a delay, I will notify the customer.

*What payment options do you accept?
I accept EFT. Please note that I only ship once payment has cleared into my account.

*Where do I place an order?
You can either email me (rafferty734@gmail.com) , pixl8za@gmail.com , or PM me on Carb. I try answer all queries within 24 hours.

Feel free to PM me if you have any queries :)

Below are some of the items I make:

No problem, I'll update my post to contain pics of each fandom item I've made :)

Very cool.

How strong/resilient are they? Like do you think a motorbike key ring would last?
Also, I can't view you Youtube video at work - do you have/not have specific colours?

They're quite strong - the keyrings would last depending on where they're put. Daily key use will be fine, but I'm not entirely sure how they'd do under extreme circumstances :?. The more solid keyrings e.g Squirtle and Bulbasaur would last longer than those with appendages e.g a tail.
I have basically all colours :)

Copyright...?

Honestly, it IS a grey area. I've been in contact with some people who know the laws, and it's been the same argument of 1. there are companies who produce direct copies of artwork e.g a screenshot of Pikachu in an episode of Pokemon which they then print onto mugs or shirts; or a Team Valor PNG pic that they print and put onto mugs etc, and this constitutes as direct copy infringement.. 2. I don't make exact copies of said work; mine is derivative work. I have never sold e.g a physical copy of an ingame Pokemon sprite, all pieces I've designed are my own designs.

Ooh, one more question I'll ask here for the benefit of others: What's the "pixel" size? For eg how many millimeters across is that 7 "pixel" pokeball?

Each pixel is 0.5 cm, so 3.5cm.
Thanks for that, I'll update my post.

Okay so i have an idea - but how strong are these (i would love to buy like 6 as coasters for hot coffee / Rum ..etc)

They work great as coasters :) They only react to constant heat i.e an iron, and with lots of pressure, so for mugs and hot coffee, they'll work just fine.

ashiirza these were the pokemon I was talking about

But looking at the ruler in the other pic would they be too big to make into keyrings?

Ah yes, those. Those are around palm sized so what I can offer is either as a coaster or a display piece? Definitely quite big for a keyring :)

Tried and tested a recently made coaster with a mug of boiling water for an hour: no warping or melting. :)

Started a Dota II mini range (smaller pieces can be used as keyrings, or a few can be mounted onto a canvas - any colour of your choice) - I have a few other designs I am busy modifying and finalising now
