Not 1180 but 2K and yes 2018, but maybe Q4.

Anything official? Didn't see much news besides 400k USD systems for AI and deep learning.

nothing official, but what I do know is that they made no announcement to any partner about any GPU coming in the short to medium term. More promotions and campaigns around 10 series are scheduled as well.
Consider as well these parts are GDDR6 (1080 and 1070 replacement). With the recent DRAM price hike and production issues, Despite hearing Q3 I'd say Q4.
GDDR5 memory is in short supply as it is, so even if there were no capacity limitations at TSMC, memory would still prove challenging. It's all hearsay though, from nobody official just office banter at partners.

No chance according to Gamers Nexus. Expect business orientated cards with gamer cards later on in the year.
