Hi all!

Hope someone could help me out. I’m looking to get internet to one of my cottages. Its about 300m from my home(which has internet) and I have a clear line of site, what would be the best and most affordable way to go about this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

Use 2 nano bridges from ubiquity around R800 each also a wifi AP for the cottage and you are set. I have 2 lite beams brand new and a wifi ap if you want to do it.

I can vouch for the Ubiquiti route. I have a house connected to my network roughly 80m from mine but without VLOS to the antenna specifically - (2 heavily leaved trees in the way) and the antennas connect just fine. I do only get an "ok signal" reported back, but with UL and DL speeds of 200mbps. Easy to install and config, and you hardly ever have to faff with them once configured...
