What I meant was, I don't know if Wootware just keeps their remaining 4080 stock up for sale, but lists the 4080 Super higher, which is absolutely backwards based on what Nvidia said. Will find out in a week, though.

It looks like these gpus are only holding msrp in the usa to some extent. The UK pricing is not the equavalant US pricing.
What boggles me is the fact that the cheapest 4070 super in sa is a palit, that same palit is $600 in the US, only $50 cheaper than the likes of asus , msi, gigabyte 4070s
Here in SA , the palit is like R3000 cheaper than a asus , msi , gigabyte.
That is more than a $50 difference by alot

As @goldfritter mentioned, Wootware is able to direct-import Palit cards and also XFX cards. That's why these two brands are usually quite a bit cheaper than the rest of the inventory and are mostly listed as 'in stock with Wootware' as opposed to 'in stock with Supplier'

Local retailers are unlikely to sell current stock at a lower price unless they get the rebate.

Wootware has already pulled all their direct-import 4080 stock, it seems. Only a handful of non-Woot cards available. And there are zero 4070 Tis available.

Well the real price to performance uplift is the 4070 super, in dollar pricing though because the rand pricing is still over priced.

4070 super is the card for price/performance
4070 ti super is the card for the extra 4gb to get peace of mind 16gb longevity
4080 super is nvidia giving a discount price cut without saying they are giving a discount price cut

So overall the 4070 super is the card that actually provides the performance uplift that deserves the super moniker, the other cards are just marketing as [fake] super cards for filling in what the originals should have been.
