I'm not sure why you're getting involved in this. You don't seem interested in buying either, so I'm not sure why any of our questions to OP should concern you.

Myself and others are interested in buying, its taken a few too many pages to work out things that OP should've (ideally) stipulated within his original post.

If OP had a decent iTrader I am very certain that there would be less questioning, but seeing as he has 0 iTrader, poor construction of his post and replies you can't blame us.

I am definitely not keen on spending R250.00+ on some thing that doesn't work properly or some thing that doesn't even exist - which is why I asked for more validation. (Please note I am not saying OP is a fake, but with 0 iTrader we can only be so cautious)...

End of the day I don't really care if its legit or not, if it works, it works... I just don't understand why it took so many pages to pull info out of the seller, that's all.

I've seen a few people on facebook who've bought it and they seem quite happy with it. The pictures they show look as if it's a 1:1 clone. I might be mistaken unless I get one myself.

Just out of interest with this whole cloning thing. There's a vape company in the US that you might consider high end for the average consumer. It costs $90 for a single tank. Now due to the FDA they had to outsource the manufacturing to China which obviously led to the company selling "clones". These clones are exactly the same as their counterpart except you don't get a number on your certificate of authenticity. This might be what happened to the fidget cube.

I got one yesterday. It wasn't the colour I asked for. After asking for 'midnight' (confirmed with him that he had midnight in stock) I received a variation of 'dice' with red buttons.
His response was: "I dont have much stock colour variation and the 3 midnight I had I sold to a customer in Durban."

He said shipping was free for this one and if I wasn't happy with it I'd have to ship it back.

He also let me pay after receiving it (which I haven't done yet).

Now the 2 options he gives me is to either pay him the R250 (initially R349, had to remind him he said free shipping) or pay to have it sent back to him.


The cube itself:

The 3 gears on it has no resistance at all; free spinning/loose instead of 'clicking' gears. The chrome ball has more resistance, which doesn't make for a very smooth roll.

Other than that, I like it.

Differences, that I can tell, between this and the final version of the AntsyLabs Fidget Cube (compared to their video on facebook):

The loose gears.
Not-so-smooth rolling chrome ball/bearing.
The joystick isn't as low profile.
The middle button isn't a middle-ground between the silent and loud clicking buttons.

Just wanted to share my experience of the seller with everyone else, as most people are/were unsure about him.

As I said, I like it.

Making him pay for shipping twice on a R250 item doesn't feel right to me (even though he messed up).

Free shipping on the first one + neutral iTrader is a good enough compromise for me.

Keeping it + paying him.

I received my fidget cube today. He also shipped before payment. Will PM him now for banking details.

First of to the OP: I appreciate your packaging its done nicely. I like the colour of my cube

I like the fact that the gears does not have resistance but that might just be me
My chrome ball on the other hand have a smooth roll.
I agree with the joystick, would be better is more low profile.

One negative: The clicking imo is a bit to loud, I don't know if the 'real' one will be loud or not.

The cube itself looks to be of good quality imo.

Would be interesting to compare this to the 'real' one once they are shipped
