The nukes have dropped...

Fallout (TV Series 2024– ) - IMDb

All 8 episodes of season 1, ready to enjoy alongside some nuka cola quantum 😎

(my homemade version)

I also must admit I am very keen to see another performance from Walton Goggins (Boyd Crowder from Justified - one of my favourite tv series)

Awesome, been looking forward to this. Hope they don't stuff it up!

From the trailer I can at the very least say everything looks super accurate in terms of the world. (Minus the power armour face mask)

I am quite ready to binge this over the weekend.

Story and visuals aside, for me the best part was the nonchalant smattering of little details.

A standout was a table inside that medical center where the uhhmmm, harvesting was to take place. The table in front of Beavis and Butthead looked JUST like a table would inside the games, with an assortment of seemingly random stuff scattered around. And I could identify the stuff on the table from the games!

Watched the nuke opening scene on Youtube over weekend. Might just check this out. Looks decent.

I'm on episode 3.

So far i give it a 7/10. The acting is sometimes ... average and weird.

I never played the game either so I feel like there's a few things that need better explanation as well.

It's not terrible just a bit thin considering their budget.

Needed more Fallout 4 wow and more feeling of how EVERYTHING in the world can kill you as well as how much EVERYTHING wants to kill you. The sets felt a bit lifeless so far, episode 1 and 2 felt too bland but there's this feeling of the show picking up from episode 3. I have not watched further yet.

Cast is okay, acting is average and plot fairly vague so far.

Brotherhood of steel was always pointless to me however I do love the suits but people only get a feeling of how fragile the suit is if you played Fallout 4.

Reasons to not play the Fallout 4 game is it felt like you bought a game to work

You go find some stuff to complete tasks in order to get to a point of the story where you end up killing something in order to get to a new area to collect some stuff to complete some tasks in order to get to a point where you kill something so that you can get to a new area to collect some stuff.......................... you see where I'm going here.

Fallout 3 was fairly interesting as the dialog from characters was wild depending on if you're a bit sadistic in trying to see how far npc speech goes

Then Fallout 76 is pretty much the online multiplayer version, it feels a bit old but it's now updated and sorted after years of them fixing things.
