Error Code 43 on 1060 6g

Hi,
My brother has 2 x 1060 6g cards that have come up with error code 43 (driver problems) on one of he's rigs...he has replaced the motherboard and reloaded windows and installed the latest driver, but the errors still occur...any advice would be appreciated

1. Do DDU and fresh install latest drivers
2. Test in another pc
3. Try bios update on the GPU? (Has most likely been bios modded for mining if that is possible with 1060s)

Use GPUZ to submit the driver to the Online VGA database and see if its a modded bios

Might be his PSU. I once had that with a RX470, cannot remember how I fixed it, but it was not the gpu being faulty.

I had a similar issue a while back, it turned out that windows kept installing the driver for intel's built in graphics event though I had a dedicated graphics card, and this caused the system to freeze and error code 43 to show up. Make sure that internal graphics is disabled in the bios and check if windows didn't install some driver with the latest updates that could cause a conflict

Thanks for all the help...Ill tell him to try those fixes...he also forgot to tell me that they are the Japanese branded cards that he ordered from Japan....
