Looking for a security camera for my parents. Must be able to record on SD card, have good picture / video quality and if possible they must be able to view it on their phones. Must also have motion detection.

I've got this, I'm running 2 right now and haven't connected the third as I'm waiting for some cameras from Aliexpress to arrive. The cameras from Aliexpress will work well with my NVR but not stand alone. The Hikvision can with stand alone and is pretty easy to setup even on mobile viewing. This camera also had a mic and speaker do you can have 2 way communication.

Looks great. What price will you be looking at and do you have a link to the camera for me? I must still buy from Aliexpress one day, till now I used Dhgate and gearbest. I like Gearbest because their shipping is quite fast.

Local supplier pricing, most places will have the camera around R2000, you can check with regal security, I'm not sure if it's cheaper there.

I'm asking R1300 for the camera.

Picture from existing camera, the 2.8mm lense gives you more than 100 degree field of vision.
