Don't know about HDR, apparently it's not a great HDR implementation on console so I don't know how it is on PC.

I have a feeling that the desert is making everyone think the game performs better than it actually does. Go start a corpo path for 15 minutes and you'll see how the FPS tanks in the city (where you'll be spending most of your time) and how DLSS messes up the edges.

Fair comment. HDR implementation seems ok, not great. Certainly nowhere near GOW or Death Stranding (these PS4 HDR implementations were superb).

It's hard to say, but I'd say just keep playing. If it runs bad you can always just lower it later on.

I tried the Nomad path now just to see how it performs, and driving around the small town is actually pretty demanding with RT Ultra and DLSS Quality, very similar to walking around parts of the city. Might only see some drops when your drive around the city or if it rains.

To be honest, for how impressive it looks, I'd say Cyberpunk is fairly well optimized. Watch Dogs Legion dips into the high 50s when driving at 1440p Ultra on a 3080 even with a few lowered settings and DLSS Quality even though it only has RT reflections and not RT reflections/shadows/lighting.

Finally finished cold steel 4 on the ps rofl, now I will start Demons Souls tonight. After reading some comments here I've decided that I will play Valhalla after Demons Souls and then Cyberpunk. Give it at least 3 weeks to give us some driver updates and patches.

I bet DLSS won't look too bad in my case, I sit like 2.5 metres away from the TV, heck I used to play games on 4k with no AA and it still looked good hehe.

Even though I do like high end equipment I'm not particularly full of shit, I have no issue dropping settings even if I have a flagship gpu. I'm just happy to be able to play it with good enough fps on 4k

If you selected the big penis it impact frame rate , you must go back and re-create your character. Its a bug in the game currently.

It's most likely the shiny head on the large circumsized penis that's causing this issue

@Vinnige Fanie I'll be super happy if I can keep 55+ in demanding areas, playing at 1440p, even just on high settings with DLSS on quality, and with HDR. I'll see what this evening brings. Let me know how you go, we have the same rig practically.

So I spent two minutes running around the garage.

FRAPS says I averaged between 60-70 FPS at 1080P LOW on a GTX 1070.

Didn't play with any settings though, there may be more to be gotten, no clue. Will try when i am at home.

Interestingly, GOG downloaded the game and didn't tell me anything about an update, just launched and ran. Curious.

This is with the latest nVidia driver.

Ultra preset +-20fps
High preset +-35fps
Medium preset +-45fps (goes up a bit indoors)

Anyone with a 3080 playing this game. I am getting terrible FPS between 45 to 70 on ultra with RT at 1440p.

I noticed that the GPU usage is at around 70%. Is this the game optimization issue or is it just me?
