Cpu and/or Mobo

Hi all

Please help me as I need this pcto do work on and this morning it decided to be a *&+%

My setup simply won't boot. Don't get anything or the screen, nothing, nada.

I have narrowed it down to either the cpu or mobo.

The ram I've tested or another setup and it's fine, gpu fine and psu fine.

The cpu is i3 2100 and the mobo is Asus P8Z68-V LE

Can someone please help me as how I can know if it is either the cpu or mobo that is defective. I don't have or know someone else nearby with an sandy setup the switch cpu's.

What RAM do you have? Storm near you last night? Tested with a different PSU?

For those wanting to know,

The bios needed a flash, witch is wierd because it is a new board.
