So I'm in the market for a AIO cooler, and was looking for the h100i from Corsair.

Now I've contacted quite a few of our online retailers, and its out of stock universally, with no ETA on new stock. There are quite a few of the large overseas companies also reporting low stock numbers, or sold out with no new ETA.

Now my questions are two-fold

1) Is corsair discontinuing the product. They recently released the h110, as well as the h75i, I'm wondering if a h105i or something is on its way? Also the h100i has had a lot of returns, per corsair forums, with a fairly high failure rate on the pump and other parts.

2) Which AIO now? We don't seem to have the Swiftech H220/H320 series available in RSA, NZXT products are really hard to come by. The only other product that seems to be available with decent ratings is the Thermaltake Water 3.0?

Thoughts?

Ps. Can't go full custom loop - don't have the time to maintain it.

Hrm, let me rephrase my opening post. I didn't say I couldn't get it anywhere, as one or two places still have residual stock.

The bigger outlets don't, and they have no ETA on new stock arriving. One of them even told me corsair sa told them indefinitely.

Hence my post.

Ah ye I noticed. Want to buy me one end of the month. H110 won't fit in my case. So I hope there would be still some stock available.

DeWiT777 In a 900d?? Ps. your system spec is drool worthy

My H100i died last week and I am currently awaiting feedback from the store I bought it from. According to the store I bought it from - Corsair is discontinuing/recalling the H100i due to high failure rate - especially on the LED issue - where one of the colours of the RGB leds die - mine started with the blue flashing like crazy, and then it died, so I ran the unit without the LED on, but after a while the entire unit died - this in just under 10 months of use.

If your case can accommodate a 280mm rad - get the NZXT Kracken X60 or the more easily found Corsair H110 as they perform quite a bit better than 99% of the 240mm closed loop options available.

I myself am opting for getting the Corsair H110 or possibly a custom loop again - will see when the store gets back to me regarding my dead H100i.

Cheers.

Hey Warnoob, yep exactly what I thought

Anyone know where I can get a Kraken x60? I know phoenixtech carried them earlier this year, but can't seem to find it on their site anymore.

O gonna note to self. Ditch H100i before poop hits the tumble-dryer
And I just bought the damn thing :(

Hahaha my signature is fake :( It is what I want. Actually have a corsair 600t ;). Mmm okay ye then I'll consider getting something else or just wait and see what corsair brings to the table.

Funny that most BIG cases only support 120mm fans as there are quite a few 140/280 options out there now - and it's not like there is a lack of space in the behemoth that is the 900D. :p

If my Vengeance C70 can accommodate a 280mm rad, surely the others can too. :p

As for the Kraken X60 and H110 as far as I can tell, they're exactly the same unit, just branded differently - I might be mistaken though - and the H110 is much easier to come by than the Kracken X60 - but if I had a choice, I would've gone for the NZXT as well - nicer fans and it has a nice white LED logo on the pump/cpu block, but other than that, no major difference.

Cheers.

We don't seem to have the Swiftech H220/H320 series available

Yeah I heard that the H100i is EOL but Phoenix-Tech can get both the swiftech coolers i've been told,
i'm getting one

Yeah, I've been speaking to Tero as well =-)

Might be going for the h320, just have to sort out my finances now, post insurance screw up.

Tero any idea what would be needed to expand the h320 to cover a graphics card as well? Just trying to sort my budget out.

(Seems if I understand it correctly, thats the whole point of the h-series, to allow expansion)

You know the H320 is 3 x 120mm fans yeah?
Im bummed I can only mount the H220 in my corsair 650D....

CUDlyBunny yeah I saw its beeeg.

Thing is, I don't have a case yet. One I bought got redistributed.

So I'm thinking of getting either a Corsair 540 Carbide air, or Corsair 750d.

As far as I can see, the 750d can take the h320. I think?
Carbide air 540? only fits in front, not in roof. Might be an issue though, since I read somewhere that the Swiftech's don't like running vertically,

I'll have to do a bit more research on it gox1201, I don't know much about them as I run a custom loop myself. Best way to find out if it fits in a 750D is to Google 750D 360Rad :)

Hey Tero what's the price on the H220 and the H320?

They are Special Order items and will take around 2-3 weeks to get here, they're R1800 for the H220 and R2200 for the H320.

:)

Hmm now that is an interesting idea, I also just read about the expandability of the Swiftech H series. Would also be interested in what would be needed to include the GPU in the loop.

From what I'm seeing, All you need is the normal Watercooling stuff you'd like to add on extra, So normal WC Fittings, tubing, Radiators, Waterblocks, nothing too hard :) Looks to be a very good starter unit with some nice cooling potential.
