Hey Carbies!
Hope all good, so im on the verge of purchasing an immaculate 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited edition (3.6L - yes i know vok). It's had 1 owner, FSH and sitting on 105000kms and the car exterior is spotless and the engine bay also clean as a whistle. Im no mechanic so sending it into Jeep tomorrow to get the 76 point check thing done and will decide from there how the mechanics of things are looking
Just want to know peoples overall thoughts, wisdom and suggestions, I've looked at other cars but nothing was as awesome as this SUV, and the price point is perfect at R299k AND i was offered R60k for my BMW (which is more than any other dealership/ pvt individual so far) so im happy with that. I know people say Jeeps give issues, but everyones said that about every other SUV we've looked at.
I did want an X3 but we relocating to the cape soon and would be way more fun in this going off road in the bergs and traveling around (except petrol). Also 2 big dogs who come with us
So my Mrs and I both work from home, I go riding in PTA (from Sandton side) on weekends to trails and maybe we head to the shops once or twice a week cuz there's always something we need. So im not too worried about petrol cost,
Thoughts?
Edit: Can anyone recommend a towbar place and a clear vehicle wrap to keep the paint fresh and minimize scratches from poese smacking your car in car parks?
