IMO it's not worth it, bud. A proper air cooler is better than a budget AIO water cooler. I got better performance from my Cooler Master Hyper 212+ than from my Cooler Master Seidon 120V+ (on an i7-2600K, both overclocked and at stock speeds), and the 120V+ makes more noise to boot (you have a pump that makes a noise).

IMO, unless you want to fork out for a 240mm AIO cooler or something like that, it's not worth it and a proper air cooler is a better bet.

Thanks man, I've currently got the coolermaster v6 and I'm idling at like 40c but I only go up to 55c and I'm at stock voltage and 4ghz. I want to go as high as I can on stock voltage as I've been told it won't kill the cpus life span. I've heard a lot of good and bad things about closed loops :/. I'll stay away from the smaller closed loops then :p. The reason I'm overclocking is because cs:go is evil and the OC improves frames a lot, the 4ghz OC has improved my fps quite decently so I want to invest in a decent cooling solution. Thanks again for the input.

Yeah CS:GO really does improve pretty nicely on an OC'ed CPU. I would really recommend you take Lotus-JPS up on his offer if it realizes - it's a nice cooler that. It is 280mm though.

PS: The smaller water coolers really aren't bad. They're very neat and more compact than massive air coolers, but their issue is actually getting the CPU temps down low. I don't have overheating issues at all, but it remains at a higher-than-normal temperature all the time. Not high, but where the 212+ managed to get idle temps down to ~30°C, with the 120V+ it remains at around 35°C after a gaming session. It's not bad, but I think due to the smaller radiator it's simply not capable of cooling the water enough before it's pumped back to the CPU again. Obviously, better coolers with better radiators will perform better, but I think bigger is the answer. Double the size means (generally) double the time the liquid spends in the radiator, giving it double the time to cool down.
