Description of Item.
The printer was working perfectly until last week. One day I tried to do copy (scan/print) and I noticed that the paper was not getting pulled through into the printer. I then tried printing from my laptop, and the same thing, the printer continues to go through the motions, as if the paper was being pulled through, but the paper is only partially drawn into the printer. After a while the printer head stops moving and the malfunction indicator lights up.
I didn't try and open the printer because I don't have any maintenance skills, so I have no idea if it is a minor repair-at-home issue or if it needs to be repaired by the vendor. I suspect that it is more serious than a simple paper jam, but I honestly have no idea what the issue is.
If someone is not interested in fixing the printing function and simply requires a scanner, that functionality still works.
FYI: There is still ink in the printer tanks.
