Blade and Soul

Been playing since Sunday night, only level 18 but liking the game a lot.
Game kept crashing but changed a couple ingame settings and haven't crashed since.
Story seems good
Quests and side quests are good
Players friendly and helpful
Good game so far

Maybe its a server load issue >< are you playing with / without premium ?
Have you run a file repair on the launcher (and check for any anomalies running in task manager while on start up)
thirdly did you download the new launcher and game from the site (the beta and the current version is 2 different links >< don't ask me I have no idea why ?)

I only bought 1st tier founders pack so don't think it is with premium. I have repaired and I have completely redownloaded the game. I'm also sure I'm using the live Client.

I have disabled all my startup programs except for Microsoft services and still didn't work.

Hmmm then someone borked you ...that support group is nigh on useless it took them 4 days to respond to my query ><

And if you use any Razer stuff - disable the app - the new game guird blocks it ><

and 3rd ly --Control Panel> System> advanced system settings> pop a screen there have to choose Advanced
on Performance press on Settings --- Visual Effects (have to enable custom - Custom: Show thumbnails instead of icons / Smooth edges of screen fonts / Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop )
Advanced > Change - - Disable Automatically manage paging file size for all drives
Choose Custom size
Initial size / Maximum size must be adjusted to double the initial size eg. initial 2gb max 4gb

msconfig > services > disable all microsoft services ( hide)

Adapted from a Russian guy who told me over Teamspeak so it will seem a bit broken

Right click on launcher >Properties > Compatibility
Enable "Run this program in compatibility mode for" choose Windows 7

I think it was Disable all non-microsoft services? This is after you have hidden microsoft services. I have done this.

I will try changing the paging file size as well and running it in compatibility mode. Thanks for the info.
 
Tried it out for 2 nights.

At first I couldn't connect to the servers, kept getting disconnect errors.
Disconnected from server. (1000)(132,10054)

I opened up WTFast and server chained JHB to DE3, problem was resolved.

Running the game at 4k all maxed out and getting between 80 and 120 fps, not bad at all.

Playing as Lyn Blade Dancer, I found that the huge delay between using skills has improved quite a lot, however actual attacks per second has not increased meaning high latency still suffer. It's much more playable now than ever before, casual players will be able to enjoy it, not sure about hardcore PVP players. Choosing a slower class will increase your gameplay, Destroyer vs Kung Fu Master as an example.

I'm surprised that the queues for non premium members are so big, considering how old the game actually is, which is obviously a good thing.

I tried this , I didn't pick the server though will try and pick DE3. Thanks !
 
Level 23 almost now - been taking it fairly slow - playing on Ebon Hall.

Destroyer is just OP as hell ... 2 shotting most mobs.

Using reShade with some custom shaders and the game looks a ton better !

Honestly it's to early to tell, but it's definitely better than the russian version, and far better than the NA CBT1.

You will never get all South Africans to play on the same server, this has been attempted before many times and has always failed.
 
They have a massive SA clan on there sofar I know (but I still created my own :) ) offering free advice and assistance :p

As for the CBT that sucked compared to the current.

( I have guys in SA reporting pings of +-115 to Frankfurt on fibre lines )
