So I had my first real track day on Friday. It was an absolutely amazing day and I loved every single moment of it. If you own a bike, you HAVE to get on track at least once. Thanks @Wacko_ZA for all the inputs and advice, and for making everyone else look really slow.

My goals for the day was to get my knee down (bucket list), and to not die. I am happy to be alive and letting you all know I dragged knee! :D

Nice!

This. Even if you have a dual sport bike it's worth doing. I spent a day at Red Star on my 60hp Transalp with square-block knobblies and I was dragging footpegs in no time. I'm sure my lap times were glacial but it doesn't matter, it was SUCH fun.
Have yet to take my 990 though...

Looks awesome! i really need some track time  iv'e officially got to close to the limit of my tires on the street (not around any cars). when you see light on the dash flashing and the tail just twitching between grip and no grip its time to visit a track to get that nonsense out lol

Oh.... I was under the impression that's just how bikes work. Is it not supposed to do that? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Jokes aside, for sure dude. You will rediscover your motorcycle. Many people have the idea that track = racing. But it's really just having a safe environment to explore and do what you want to do. Push the limits a bit, try dumb shit. Learn from the bike. Absolute ideal place to do it.

The A, B, C classes also gives everyone an opportunity to do their thing at their own pace.

Haha they are supposed to do that just not on a road... Too much crap on the tar and the obvious dangers.

Il make a plan to hit Redstar on their next track day. I was supposed to be there this last week... Work and time got the better of me.

Nice man! are you just looking, or thinking of buying? :D biggest think is km, and the desmo service ok?
Its got 10k km on it. Thinking of trading my S1000R on it but I want to see it in person. If not this Panigale then another one will pop up.

@D3TTOL yea there are a few coming on on the market now, the good ones go really quick. they are amazing machines honestly. 1199/1299/V4, the entire panigale family.
The one I sent you earlier, is For 190k, but negotiable. The guy owns a Ducati workshop, and the bike is mint. 8961km on.
