Description of Bad Deal:

20 Nov

• @Traffic contacted me saying he has a phone for me.
• He insisted on an instant EFT

21 Nov

• I paid him - Instant EFT
• I said I'll arrange courier for Monday 22Nov

22 Nov

• Monday morning he said there's a problem, nobody home to hand phone to courier.
• He phoned me and said he'll make some other plan

23Nov

• Says he's sorry he forgot to make a plan

24 Nov

• He said he has the phone with him, will drop it at postnet "Expect a message 12ish. With a tracking number"
• No message came through

25 Nov

• I ask if he was able to get to postnet on Wednesday
• He ignores me

26 Nov

• Says he's sick and will refund me. (Note - He suggested the refund)
• 10:34am I try to salvage the sale - offer again to send a courier - if you're home sick then surely there's a person now to hand it to the courier?
• No response from him for the rest of the day - but he wasn't sick enough not to browse Carb at 10:45am
• The evening I message him to say I've run out of patience and demand my money back.

27 Nov

• He apologizes, says he was asleep all of Friday "I will sort out payment ASAP"

29 Nov

• I ask what's happening
• He says "I am doing it today immediate clearance"

30 Nov

• Ignores me

1 Dec

• I get this message "Morning, I'm doing a payment now"
• I make it clear that this is the last day I'm putting up with this.
• He responds "Okay. That's more than fair"

2 Dec (today)

• He sends me a message explaining he's waiting for payments and if they don't clear by 10am he'll make a plan to sort out payment.
• I explain my confusion for yesterday he said he was making the payment "now"
• He phones me with a story about debits and stuff and illness
• I tell him I have no reason to believe him anymore, the only thing he can do is actually refund me
• Note he's not too broke to put up a Wanted thread offering 10K to buy an amp

I have the whatsapp thread available if mods wants to verify anything.

His Itrader should have been a indication that maybe paying before you had the goods wasn't the best idea.

He gave references of carb members who dealt with him without itraders being done - I followed up on them and they came through confirming deals went smoothly

Be careful of which members you followed up with, if they are also low or zero itrader then it could the same person impersonating or accomplices acting in giving false testimony.

the people that have itrader'd him are relatively high, so the dude really could be sick as a dog, but its also relatively easy to pay someone on a cellphone..especially if he can browse carb...so i dunno guys..seems dodge as hell. also the dude hasnt responded to our overlord, thats a big no no :0

Thanks for the advice, however the members I followed up with are both well established with itraders above 100.
