Selling some nice audio toys.

Audio GD R28 DAC/amp
This DAC/amp is easily end game material. I never thought I'd sell it. This is the best DAC/amp I have heard. It shines in every respect - as a DAC, amp, pre-amp and AIO. The price is worth it alone for the DAC section, but as an AIO it is absolutely sublime and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It has the upgraded clocks and comes with the USB firmware blaster. Definitely gets my 10/10 stamp of approval - has to be heard to comprehend just how good it is. The original owner, a good friend of mine, bought it new from Audio GD, he then sold it to another good friend of mine, who in turn sold it to me, so the history is known.

Item: Audio GD R28 DAC/amp still available
Age: About 2 years
Price: R15k
Warranty: Doubt it
Packaging: Yes
Condition: Excellent (minor note that the plastic housing around the power input at the back is cracked and the front left lip of the cover is ever so slightly bent - I bought it like this, it never bothered me)
Location: Jhb / Melrose Arch / Savoy / Bramley and surrounds
Reason: CUD
Shipping: Not ideal but sure, at your cost and risk
Collection: Preferred
Link: R28 Product Page (note my model is not the 2020 as per the product page - Audio GD keeps this page updated to the current year)

Little Dot 3 Tube Amp (upgraded) sold
This is an amazing amp. I had the caps and chain resistors upgraded to improve the sound quality. It's great as it is but it's a different beast after the upgrade - transformed in every way. SQ went up significantly. The star of the show was the treble, it really encapsulates the meaning of "sparkle" in treble. Bass and mids are superb, as expected from a good tube amp - warm and luscious. The upgrades cost me R2k. I'm throwing in the Voskhod tubes which I brought in from the UK as well as the custom cut clear perspex dust cover that I had customised for the amp.

Item: Little Dot 3 Tube Amp (upgraded caps and chain resistors) + Voskhod tubes + custom cut clear perspex dust cover
Age: Not sure, a few years
Price: R6k
Warranty: Doubt it
Packaging: No
Condition: Excellent
Location: Jhb / Melrose Arch / Savoy / Bramley and surrounds

Matrix XSPDIF 2 on hold
I cannot say enough good things about this USB interface. You don't understand how much noise the USB from your PC makes until you try this little beast. Significantly lowers noisefloor, brings out detail with ease, and opens the sound stage. It's a behind the scenes star of the show - changed the way I look at noise in the audio chain.

Item: Matrix XSPDIF 2
Age: Not sure, a few years
Price: R5k
Warranty: Doubt it
Packaging: Yes
Condition: Excellent
Location: Jhb / Melrose Arch / Savoy / Bramley and surrounds
Reason: CUD
