Good evening night-cudders. Have here a neglected reference ASUS 5970 and a XSPC waterblock, both looking for a new home. As mentioned, this is an ASUS card, but the cooler and packaging are all for a XFX Black Edition 5970, so it's a hybrid of the best so to speak. Last important detail to note is that the I/O plate has been removed by myself, this is only attached with a few screws and can be reassembled easily. All that is included are shown in the pictures below. Be sure to click on the pics for a larger view.

Item: ASUS 5970 + XFX Black Edition Cooler [I/O Plate removed from card but included for reassembly]
Age: ~ 2 - 2.5 years
Condition: Excellent, never been overclocked beyond factory 725/1000. And hardly been used in it's lifetime, especially this last year.
Warranty: Not to my knowledge.
Packaging: Yes, the original packaging and accesories that I received it with. [See images above]
Location: Durban
Reason: Haven't gamed in ages, could rather use the funds.
Shipping: Yes if necessary
Product Page: Radeon HD 5970

Further Description:
Used on and off for just over a year, sitting dorment for last ~6months atleast. I removed the I/O plate to improve airflow by decreasing the air restriction. The plate, and the screws removed, are included with the card should you wish to reassemble it. I removed the plate when I was swapping out the original thermal pads with high quality 7W/mK Phobya 1mm & 1.5mm pads on the VRM's and memory chips respectively. So the card is running nice and cool, as well as not too loud even on air, with these minor adjustments. Previous owner was actually soulreap3r as I have recently been notified, and as far as I remember, he mentioned only using the card on water. If you're wondering why this is an ASUS card under all that XFX camouflage, you're welcome to contact Mr.soulreap3r for the background history.

Item: XSPC 5970 Full Cover Waterblock (Includes pair of barb fittings and stopper caps [See images above])
Age: ~ 2 - 2.5 years (Very little usage, I've never used it. Only original owner did, so maybe ~6 months)
Warranty: None that I'm aware of. Neither should you be needing this unless you fancy mistreating your waterblocks.
Packaging: No, just the block, 2 barb fittings, and 2 stoppers. Just as I received it.
Condition: Great, no dings. Few marks on front plate. I have never used, opened or cleaned this item. Has been packed away for year+.
Location: Durban
Reason: Unused
Shipping: Yes if necessary
Product Page: Razor HD 5970

Further Description:
I may not have had any first-hand watercooling experience, but from the research I've done I have found that this is one of the blocks to get, if you're a 5970 owner. There's no point having great GPU temps when your VRM's are overheating, thus this is one of the few blocks that have good coverage over the VRM area of the 5970. Regardless, the previous owner mentioned the XFX 5970 idled at ~26'C on the cores with this block. Original screws and washers included, as well as a pair of barb fittings and stoppers [See images above].

Price: R3,400 for all!
(Add R95 for insured counter-counter postage, or R130 for courier door-door delivery)

Hope you find all required info above.

Kind Regards
