Last night felt like everyone was tryharding, so all games were fairly low kill games. Then a hacker absolutely destroyed me and I decided that was enough Apex for the night. I specated this hacker, he was using a R99 and a Prowler. Every single shot a headshot, but I saw the aimbot was not that great at ranged shots, because it did not factor in bullet ballistics. Weird thing was this guy had game sense, could see it with his movement and yet he still decided to use an aimbot. I suppose his mindset would be, hey the game is free lets buy an aimbot and give cheating a go.

There was a thread over the weekend on the subreddit over more cheaters being banned. Even saw a youtube stream of a guy blatantly cheating (for advertisement) and getting banned on every account he is creating.

Respawn/EAC are getting better at detecting hackers, but as always it's a never ending battle. Played with one in my squad over the weekend as well. Got myself killed on purpose so I can spectate him. Definitely had an aimbot (always headshots, snapped to heads) and probably wallhack as well as he was waiting for people to round corners and immediately shooting them. Even cancelled a med-pack heal because he saw someone through a wall closing in on him.

One of the devs replied to that thread saying that's how he spent his morning, he was watching the guy's stream and kept banning him.

Ha ha ha Im not too bad, playing as part of Battlecry (BC) group. Just have not had the time to play firestorm and legends. I must say Firestorm is well done in my opinion my kind of game.

All the gold changes are good, the 2x on the R301 was so bad too plus I never understood why the Havoc had a purple hop up when a gold one was available.

I don't think I've played with the gold versions of the other guns, cannot remember, but I had the gold wingman a couple of times and darn that scope was annoying.

I love when updates come out because all the noobs come back to see what's up, we ran into a couple of people that have never played a game before or they were doing the guitar hero controller challenge or they were NA...

Do you feel if two teams going for the same location drop, lets say bunker, with the current speed of the ship, the team dropping a bit later will land earlier?
We tested it in one match last night, only one hence I want opinions from others, we dropped like 2 secs earlier than another team and they were at the location before us, like in way before us. We were going avg 148-150 speed wise during our drop.

Doesn't your ping also effect the whole dropping thing? I have often dropped with people and they land miles ahead when we are all going straight down.

It probably does, but that did not felt like a ping advantage issue, also I was playing with two friends from the UK and we were on the London server. And the whole squad dropped even before them.

Like I 'm not complaining if that is the case, I just want to know cause then timing is everything, not just a mindless okay lets drop now.

Yeah, seen many squads drop so much earlier, no idea how! Almost like there is some kind of delay, not just ping. That usually happens when lots of people drop all at once. So maybe tick rate related? I dunno.

But yeah, it is not a major issue
