The LED for the Steelseries logo is able to shine into the Rival aperture, a clear insert will allow the insert to glow.

This is the closest I have to clear:

Just wanted to post a comment here.

I met Shampoo1014 a few months back and have since become very good friends.
He is very knowledgeable about 3D printing and has really made some amazing stuff.
We shall be teaming up soon in the hope of offering even more unique items for the Carbonite community.

I am more than happy to vouch for him, and feel free to PM me if you have any concerns.

Month end folks so how about a special?
Will only charge R50 setup fee for any 3D print until Sunday!

Let me know if you are keen ;)

Pic is of a wooden filament that I am using at the moment; looks great! Have varnished it now; waiting on a second layer and then will post a pic. View attachment 71456View attachment 71457

I got a new printer! Creality CR-10; the amazing, the large, the sexy.

Please note that I will be putting my old printer up for sale soon; I have one person interested but I am keeping it open until it is paid for. I am just doing some upgrades and changes and then we shall be good to go!

Got the files already heuheuheu.
You are looking at around R500 or so.

Wow , nice .......... How tall would you print the figure ?

I want this :
Centurion
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:264220

and
Atlas
https://pinshape.com/items/10784-3d-printed-mechwarrior-atlas

Oh, and rough estimate per figure ?

@Esea
Thanks for posting those.

Edit :
Atlas
scale 1/60 would be 21.7cm
scale 1/120 would be 10.8cm

Centurion
scale 1/60 would be 16.3cm
scale 1/120 would be 8.2cm

The 1/60 scale is going to be huge, and I am guessing a hefty price tag with it.

Not sure if you will be able to print all the details at the 1/120 scale ?

how much, if you could estimate, would it be for something like a 24-pin connector?

I think he means the male connector that goes into a motherboard.
Off-The-Chart I think BC sells them for quite cheap?
I think he wants it in a different color possibly than what is currently on the market.

Hmm, I thought so.
I cannot find the files online so I may have to design it; which would not really make it worth your money. Obviously I will do it if you want me to; that is up to you though.

I'm afraid that THIS is the best I could find.

I think I have the STLs here so that shouldn't be an issue

can you only estimate with the model file?

Very curious to find out what happened here.

Man I am stoked.........can't wait.

I was just speaking to Shampoo1014 , I never knew printing was such a lengthy process. I thought it was a few hours, but never knew it can be as high 100 hours depending on the model / scale.
