Finally made the upgrade. 7970M Crossfire

Alienware M17x R2, 920XM, 7970M XFIRE. GPU cores oc by 100mhz and CPU running on 25x across all cores with a TDP/TDC of 90W/82A. 13.6 beta2's with CCC at stock settings.

Hey was wondering, are u running Win 7 64? Interesting that you physics score is noticeably higher. The RAM is going strong btw

My 4770K @ 4.8 Physics score seems too low, dunno if it has something to do with Win 8? It is fully stable atm.

Best run i had on my SLI KFA 680 Limiteds @ 1228core was 18150 3dmarks - sadly on air though , so super noisy and hit 85 deg/c. My 690s rarely pass 65deg/c and run quiet.

i did use RASA XSPC blocks, but the connections and pipes looked horrible. so im back on the air coolers and mx4 heat paste. so im stuck on 1360 core and 7 ghz mem. which i guess is not too bad.

wish i could get a 3rd lightning. think it should finish off my system nicely.

Keeping in mind, i have not done any OC'ing whatsoever, yet.

Getting 2x 690's to work together was somewhat time consuming. I will see how tomorrow goes, try to get the CPU up to about 5.2GHz, and see that i can do to the GPU's, too.
