Duties - Ticket handling, escalation and resolution
- Daily server maintenance and backup scheduling
- Domain DNS management
- Mail migrations
- 365 Administration (365 Partner Centre) and license allocation
- Sharepoint migration and implementation
- Remote Monitoring Management (Managed Workplace and Solarwinds)
- Barracuda email security implementation
- AD Server management
- Domain wide Antivirus implementation
- Managed router and switches application and implementation (Unifi and Cambium)
- Network planning and implementation
- Firewall maintenance and implementation (PF Sense)
- CCTV install, configuration and cabling implementation
- Desktop, printer, email etc support.
- VOIP maintenance and implementation
- Maintaining 62 domains
- Maintaining client SLA relations in a respectful manner
- Site visits to local SLA clients and renewable energy sub-contracted clients

Position - Desktop Support Engineer
Duties - IT Consulting
- Network and server Installations
- Server and extensive desktop support
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure at client companies.
- Check daily and monthly backups of servers and user desktops.
- Domain transfers
Secondary duties which include but is not limited to:
- Security systems installation, project management and design
- Avigilon, HikVision, Flir (Camera types)
- Security systems application support and setup
- Avigilon, IVMS
- VOIP phone setup
- Maintaining and support IT infrastructure with a team at security estates:
- Duties include setup of home users with Zhone routers and VOIP phones which I configure using FreePBX, a2Billing, and Avigilon Zhone Management System using different VLans on a fibre backbone
- Escalate IT related problems and troubleshoot in a professional timely matter
