Hi everyone. Im looking at buying a pc close to december. What would a decent 24k white and black themed build look like in my budget (don't care for RGB maybe just one or two white fans to compliment the build.

Any advice and parts would be appreciated.

Like a zebra.

Seriously though the first thing I'd decide is if I was going black case with white accents or white case with black accents.

Wootware sell universal PSU extensions that combine black and white (I have them and they go in either colour case).

I think black case with white accents would be better as i think a majority white case shows dust and finger marks alot quicker.

White case, looks epic. Black case is typically quite dark, often hides a lot of the detail.

This.
Even if you are going RGB, a white case makes it just pop much better, unless you want something that is a bit darker in that case black case.

I think a black case with white accents generally look epic in a dark room, as most attention is then drawn to the insides. I agree a white case looks epic though. But what type of build with a theme like that would be viable in 2021 with a 24k budget.

These are the important questions you need to ask first, and then build the pc around them.

1. Intel or AMD
2. Form factor
3.b. Are you going to overclock
3.b. Latest gen mobo or previous gen (X570 vs X470 vs B550 vs B450 vs B460 vs Z490 vs Z590 etc etc etc)
3.c. Which Gen CPU (AMD is more flexible than Intel with regards to this, and also plays a role in which mobo to pick up)
4. What sort of GPU are you looking at? New, used? I would argue this should actually be point 1, because knowing what GPU you want and what it costs will give you an indication as to what to look at for the rest of the build.

From there, it's simply a case (lol) of finding a case, adding some storage and Bob's your uncle.

TL;DR - Start with the most important piece, my personal opinion is this is the GPU, know what it's gonna cost, and work your way backwards.

Once you know what's left, you'll start finding parts that suit both your theme and your budget.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I've built a few pcs in my time but never a themed one. Always just focused on performance, which sometimes lacked style but looking for something a bit more flashy now. Will have to see if i can find a white GPU at a good price though if i go black case with white accents (which is alot more difficult) maybe white case with black accents is not a bad idea as that would make a cooler and ram much easier to source (although i hope GPU prices drop else im stuck with a 1660 super :( ... )

In general a white case acts like a drawing canvas, black case is like a photo frame. Assuming you are using a glass side panel, black case is better at drawing attention to what's inside as white components or accents will be contrasting to a black background and will draw the eye. White case is better for colour when using rgb (I know you say you aren't) as the colour will "pop" against the white background, the exception is if you are in a very dark room then a black case becomes almost "invisible" and the colour components will be obvious to see like neon lights at night. The one key component is how much [white] lighting you plan to have such as ram, aio pump head, and fans, with white led, see the following:

So I know the images have cases that are a mix of black and white, it will be up to you on if you want a pure black case, pure white case, or some combination of both colours. I'm just illustrating how the case will compliment/contrast with the internal components.
