I'm not sure why but I'm getting an average of 10 Mbps down with my PS5 (formerly with my PS4) and only 1 Mbps down with my PC. What could be the possible reasons? Both are connected via Ethernet cables (Cat 5e). I've tried using different ports on the router, resetting said router, swapping cables...

If this continues I plan on changing ISP's - it's too inconsistent. I unfortunately can't get Fibre (infrastructure installation planned since 2018 by FrogFoot...) so I think I will settle for Supersonic R999 uncapped.

Had them for 1 month, cancelled and now waiting on them to come and collect their router.
The uncapped package is simply not for gaming went with Bitco's 30mb uncapped wireless and could not be happier.

1. pc specs?

2. How are you measuring the speeds.

3. post screen shot

BTW 10 Mbps = 1.25 MBps

Note PS5 quotes Mbps

Link speed is (receive/transmit): 100/100 (Mbps).

1. Ryzen 5 3500
TeamGroup 16GB DDR4 3600 CL18
Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2
SF Leadex 3 Gold 850W
and wait for it... ATI Radeon 4870.

2. Watching Ethernet performance through task manager and a speed test now and then.

PS5 - you can do upload and download speed tests.

3. Will take pictures later.

At this point I'd plug the PS5 into the cable endpoint that the PC is using and run a speed test.
Maybe plug the PC into the PS5's endpoint too but that's more of a mission.
