Turning 0 to 100000 (3 Month's)

Shiba has a far way to go make money. I only have a little amount of coins. Not sure if it will be worth it to invest in it.
Well worldcoin

Could of bought @ less then 0.05c

Was a twat

Is now 2.50$ last i checjked

I started the challenge of trading up a paperclip all the way to a Lambo.
How is that working out for you?

I'm genuinely thinking of doing a

0 - 1000000 challenge

and recording the process on instagram or something

No adding revenue if it gets popular.
I'm thinking of not including revenue

Only profit that goes in

So a million zar is like 50000$

If you change the equation and only working to get a million zar

50000$ is much more doable

Did you flip the Audi?
Yes. Used it to pay off all my debt and bought a house I was young when I was doing this. I was thinking about starting again. Here's the list of cars I went through.

Polo - Sold for 25K
BMW 320i Bought for 25K Sold for R80K
BMW 325i M Sport Edition Bought for 80K Sold for 110K (used to be Black BMW Driving around CPT with the WALES-WP Plates. Was part of the BMW CC Club
Audi S-Line 2L Bought for 70K Sold for 100K
Audi TT (Crazy Tune on it) Bought for 60K Sold for R100K - Fixed a leaky Sump for like R600 by a aluminum welder
Nissan 350Z Fair Lady Edition 3.5L V6 Bought 90K Sold for 168K - only had 60K KM on it
Audi 3.0 LTD edition 3L V6 - Bought as non runner. Did RS Pistons Fittment, New Gear box and bells and whistles(Spent about 60K) this thing felt faster than the 350Z Sold for R270K - West Coast Racing and Race-Tec did the work on her.
Polo GP 1.2 - Current Car Probs will sell for R135K if someone wants it. i have had it now for 6 years. Get in a go basically. Really want to get a new Car But not going through a bank for it.

Went through these cars in under a year.
Infact the cash flow was good. my girlfriend(wife now) and I used to go out to fancy restaurants and stuff. Managers who saw us coming treated us like royalty. Yet I was a 20 something year old young kid. Just flipping cars for cash.

I drove around with 100K in my cars glove box incase there was a car I would like to buy straight from the owner.

So my wife and I was speaking about taking our Bonus this year and starting this again. We miss having the extra cash laying around, we Could afford what we wanted and gave our family their needs. Now a days on only our salaries we just miss living life. we used to go everywhere. Camping ect... we had a blast back then.

I think you will find things are very different compared to over 10 years ago.

Thanks for sharing this, I am busy paying off most of my debt so I can start doing this.

I love cars and I am a semi-qualified mechanic, my dream is to fix auction/accident cars and flip them, hopefully, I will make enough to buy a house or have a giant deposit.

If I am being honest - I don't think it would work anymore & was more just luck (feel free to disagree).
Shitboxes / flippers - Yes
Niche market - No

Due to the plague (teh big sick, now economy), the markets have sort of flipped on its head. There are a lot of players in the 2nd hand market, flush with supply and lots of competition (eg, WBC), meaning the margins will be slim at best.

Lol luck had nothing to do with it. the Audi Sline seller wanted more cash. I literally walked away. He called me in 10 minutes accepting my offer.
the MSport dude refused to sell at that price I emptied my bag with 50K in it on his kitchen table his wife looked at him and he agreed.
the dude with the 350Z didnt want to sell then eventually 2 days later dropped the car at my work and I think I actually spent less than 90k On it told him I had spent 5K of the cash and he accepted it.

I bargained hard back then. Really did. I had a goal. to just get out of the area I used to live in I hated it. even police kept on beating my ass. they would send 4 cars to pull me down and then say they have to search my car incase of drugs and one day I told them I dont smuggle fokhol and where is their warrant I got a few poes klappe and got told to hou my bek cause they can see by the cars I drive. I absolutely fucken hated it.

Fair enough but still finding those people and the "negotiation skills" are reliant on luck, desperation & timing.

This is what i was curious about

Awe

Car flipping is defs a thing

2 Questions

How much does having the ability to fix or someone you trust to fix it up , comes into the decision on the buy

I think if you know your car's it makes a big difference

I think their is competition in everything

Its very rare that you wont have competition and that you find a solid niche market

I know some people buy old as fuck camera's from 1980 to 2000's and sell those on insta and she makes a nice amount

but as @Dom negotiation skills are a big factor

If I can add in my last (serious) 5 cents: luck is also a factor.

Having the right timing of getting the car, availability of parts at a good price (local or imported) as well as the willingness of a seller (after finding them - networkimg will be key & this takes time, effort & commitment (if it was easy everyone would do it)).

You comes across as in your early mid-twenties - give it a try but don't beat a dead horse (if it doesn't work out).
