Howsit Gents,

One of the nice things about carbies in Gauteng, is that many times they turn out to be car guys. Then its all car talk, and 2min to the actual deal!

I drive a molten orange Fiesta ST stage2. Cooler, exhaust, dp, intake(drop in), sw all done. Running ethanol on my current file for ~101 octane.

I drive a white Chevy utility 1.4 with tinted windows about 10 shades darker than would be considered legal. I bought it like that from a traffic officer though.

Do I qualify for this thread?

Currently drive a Discovery 4 V8, no mods, but prior to that had a ST225, with full exhaust, intake, cooler and some other cooling goodies and SW. Made just over 200wkw and 440 odd nm on 95, really really miss that car.

Ah man! Those Discoveries are nice, but definitely a dad car.

I was in 2 minds with the Focus vs Fiesta. Second hand the cost and insurance difference is negligible. I went for the ST in the end because a road legal go cart sounded fun at the time. Super happy with the car...

I have a fee-ti, change the tires on it daily, from Nike to Addidas to some Puma, i want a RunX RSI 1.8 VVT-Li when I'm a big boy though

Previous:
2009 Fiesta ST 150 -> Did cossworth cams, puma speed map, under drive pulley kit, etc
Made ~150kw 225nm at Dynotech on pump fuel, went around the Killarney track and down the drag strip every other weekend.

2013 Polo GTI, did 1000km to a tank of oil, VW claimed it was within spec.
Sold 11 months after buying new off the show room floor.

2014 Fiesta ST 180 -> STO map, intake, down pipe, etc
Made 158kw 340nm odd at Dynotech, also played lots at Killarney.
Cylinder 3 ringland failure, sold 2018 after warranty expired.

Current 2016 Focus ST3... dead stock apart from some painted wheels, hasn't even been on the dyno.
Did take the Great Dane to Namibia and back in it

2004 Astra G OPC Silver

In terms of mods it has all the Astra H OPC bits and bobs which was referred to back in the day as "stage 3.5". So its VXR turbo, injectors, afm, 255 lph pump, bigger cooler, 76mm dp and exhaust and obviously tuned for all the above.
