Ye was about to ask, is it Fibre, or 'Fibre/Hybrid Fibre/WiFibre 'So it seems like they are bring fibre to the building wirelessly
Ye we/they have established it's on their side.If you don’t get packet loss from pc to your router, then it cannot be your network. It has to be on their side.

There is no serious wifi interference. Only packet loss via lan.Ye was about to ask, is it Fibre, or 'Fibre/Hybrid Fibre/WiFibre '
Stupid q, how close to your microwave is the router? And how close are other units? Your frequency of issues might not all be related to nearby defrosting happening, but it could make things worse from time to time.
Still not fixed. They have offered a months free internet in the mean time.
Ping PLotter Question, would the graph show 0 packet loss if my connection was fine, or would there still be some packet loss here and there?
Send me your ping plotter logins and i can check on my net.
Ya im glad they offered, but I'm wondering what would be the hold up on the fix?Its frustrating AF! It’s nice of them to give you a month free though! My isp was like “f u buddy, we’re just gona drag our feet for 3 months”

My guess is their in house staff have no idea what's the issue. Their staff who did the initial setup likely jumped ship after the initial boom and now they are stuck following scripts that was setup by said founding folk. Likely going to get an external company/person to troubleshoot.Ya im glad they offered, but I'm wondering what would be the hold up on the fix?
To expensive?
Cant they find the problem area?
What do you mean by hop in the chain?it would show you zero packet loss.. unless you get a hop in the chain that is unannounced then it would always show 100% down (the hop between 4 and 6 on your ping plotter for example)
Ya this sounds accurate. My guess is their in house staff have no idea what's the issue. Their staff who did the initial setup likely jumped ship after the initial boom and now they are stuck following scripts that was setup by said founding folk. Likely going to get an external company/person to troubleshoot.
But hey that's literally my guess, although I've seen this happen more often these days as those who know what they're doing move on up and out.
What do you mean by hop in the chain?
That makes perfect sense and helps me better identify the problem! So i have attached a example photo that you uploaded before and circled some bits in red so that you can get a better understanding.

Column 1 on the left is called Hop and is numbered 1 to whatever. So that is what i am referring to when i say i hop.. Its basically the next point in the route to getting to your final destination.
if you have a look between 4 and 6 there is a Hop there that has no IP or no name etc.. this is known as a unannounced hop (IE not revealing to the world who it is) and these will always show 100% packet loss because of the fact that its unannounced. Doesn't mean that cause it shows 100% packet loss that its broken, it just means it unidentified.
If you getting packet loss on the others, then it indicate that there is still a problem...
Hope that makes sense. Also i stand to be corrected, so please do correct me if i am wrong
Well it seems like they may be doing, fibre over WIFI as that is their speciality but I am not 100% sure if they have a cable here or not.Tell me which ISP this is again? Sounds like a farce to get your shit sorted.
I’d say it’s damage to the fiber cable and the ISP wants nothing to do with the fix. The only way to determine this is with a new router and a techie who knows what they are doing.
Gaming is a dream again lol. No ridiculous lag spikes. Well very little, every now and then I still get a little mur mur but nothing hecticThose ping graphs looks positive!
I bet your gaming is 100% better at the moment?
Looks fixed to me, perhaps not the best jitter but still better than having packet loss.
