Really? I was under the impression our ded servers weren't setup for firestorm. - Would be nice if they were, but also if they are like normal I don't believe there is enough of a player base unfortunately. BFV did not take off well locally.

Looting is a stuff up, unless anyone can point me in a direction of where the loot and scopes are at, Played 4 won 1. Hitreg is a problem, The inventory system is clever on the player, picking up loot on dead bodies is a mission as everything spawns on top of each other. Need more higher level guns with scopes to be able to make this playable at a lower ping as the game pace is much faster than PUBG. SMG is a waste on body shots with someone with full armor, 1 clip removes the armor and by the time you switched weapon or reloaded you are dead. Unless you go for headshots. Luv the pistol that you have available when you are down. Enjoy that you cannot shoot someone from the fire as you can see nothing to get rid of those out of circle campers. Enjoy being able to heal while moving. Needs a patch of two to make the play enjoyable on a local server.

The servers are indeed like regular bfv servers, it needs to be summoned by enough players well this is what dice told us.
Yeah unfortunately you're right, our player base is way to tiny for us to have multiple BR servers floating around

I reckon the only solution is lenient latency and we're sorted!

Why do the servers need to be summoned. Doesnt make sense that we cant see them. No one will look for them if they cant find them 🤷‍♂️

I think the idea is ok, however the execution turned out not so great

was probably made this way so that you don't have empty servers sitting around for a game type that doesn't get played

How is Firestorm EU server in comparison with normal BF5 servers?
Are the hit reg and lag the same?
Is it far harder to kill someone on Firestorm than normal BF5?

How many players do you think we need to full a firestorm server?

As someone said maybe we should try get a carbonite firestorms rally going. The person in charge can starts a firestorm SA facebook page and try get more to join

Another thing I noticed is it's a lot slower and campier than I like playing games, the circle will be very small with 11 people left. I watched someone playing duos and the circle had maybe a 10-15m radius with 6 players alive.

Played a few games. Very cool and yes I see all the issues that have been mentioned above.

Driving in the FireStorm SUCKS. cant see anything. They should make it opaque so I can at least try and get a way from the circle.
Looting is so rough lol. A TAB system like PUBG would be fantastic.
Climbed up a ladder out the water in a panic, pressed C to heal and then clicked. My Panzer went off directly into the wall infront of me........ womp womp wooooomp dead
The freefall from plane feels slugish and clunky
Why do the ragdoll effects kick in when you are spectating? People look like jelly when running around.
Interchangeable weapon addons would be nice. This is actually a game changer. If they don't implement addons the game will die.

Just my view from playing 2 rounds

I think they purposefully made the zone the way it is, you can't see in or out, so players can't gatekeep and they want you to avoid the zone.

The biggest problem right now is a weird hit reg issue.
Sometimes bullets just don't register at all. This has gotten me killed so many times....

agreed, just stay in front of the circle. It is not pubg.... And this is one of the things I like abt the game.

guys, please tell me that when you are doing your update and it is verifying your game files in the beginning, that even others using an NVMe drive, it runs slow and doesn't utilize the full disc speed

yes, I know, I think it does some online check/work, but still doesn't nearly use disc to max potential

just wanna make sure I don't have a 'clog'

I had an update few days ago it registered like 26gigs that it verified was like whaaaat. But then once done it started a 6.5 gig I think it was update

but when it does that, check your Task Manager and have a look at what your drive read/writes at when it does that verifying

my NVME does I think like (going to pull number from thumb) 10MB/s

Mine I won't lie took a long ass time even on my new WD 500g SSD the verifying speeds were going at only a few mbps
