I want to get into CSGO who is willing to teach a NOOB

Add me too please guys, same nick and similar Avatar. I have some hours under my belt but I rather suck to be honest. Would love to learn from better players!

Hi Inkwe will add you later and we can jam abit :)

I have taken photos to see my grip style and its noted I am a palm type

Which mouse and decent headset would be recommend ?

Hyper X Cloud hands down for best budget headset CSGO. There's one for sale on carb for a good price of R700.

I have be advised to buy a Zowie or rival 600 mouse

Also kind of like those razer offerings

What about corsair or logitech headsets any thoughts/opinions

I had a Corsair VOID RGB. Personally I would advise against getting it for CSGO. Feels too heavy after a while and I was disappointed with the sound. I performed way better in csgo with the Cloud II than the VOID that's for sure. Not sure about the new Corsair HS one though.

I have VOID's and they are just fine, I can even hear things others cannot.

I'm currently playing with an arctis 5 and rival 300. Can wholeheartedly recommend steelseries mice over other brands, however i have never had a chance to try zowie mice. I hear they are good, many CSGO pros use them.

Personally I think equipment won't be the thing that will keep you back at first. But then I admitted to suck above so who knows.

I run with a Logitec G610 keyboard, G402 mouse and Artemis Spectrum G633 headset (Why yes, I do like Logitech, thanks for asking). I doubt whether it makes me any better.

Oh, Warowl is my favourite Youtuber. Love his humour.

My 2c worth... While deathmatch is the best for practice it can be hard to learn when you get into a game with people who run you over all the time.

There are some really good workshop maps to get aiming and shooting down (aimbotz etc). This is where I spent most of my time learning in the beginning and while I am far from being really good it has helped me out loads. Also Crosshairzzz or whatever to get a crosshair that suits you (default is big and distracting).

I still take tips from @ViVception tho

Noted @ChrisWalley will add ,

Look playing casual on dust 2 is nice but me having to wait again to kill is impatience I cannot STAND lol but yes deathmatch isnt for proper practice

Better gear gets you better precision in gaming thats what I have noticed and been told ;) shall take everyones advice and find my balance ...

I had the old voids and not the PRO version. It maybe was a bad/faulty one but I wasn't happy with its sound for csgo. But good to know that they are fine for you maybe I'll give the VOID Pros a chance one day.

I also find casual boring as hell, once you start playing competitive, you find that you are fully invested in the game, and the format becomes really fun.

I Deathmatch A LOT. Almost every day, especially if I do not have time for Competitive. I find that while it helps tremendously with my aim and taming the recoil, it gives me bad habits in Competitive. I often end up dead as a dormouse early in a Competitive round and then realise I was WAAAAY too aggressive. Your life is precious in Competitive and DM doesn't teach you that...

In my opinion, the steelseries. The sensor is really good, it moulds comfortably with your hand, and there is the added benefit of RGB[emoji2]

I believe it is R750 on evetech today

I can assist you guys getting into the game. Been playing the cs novel since back in the day. You guys more than welcome to add me:

Some tips I can suggest:
- Watch pro's
- Play aim maps vs bots
- Practice Practice
- understand the Mechanics (spray, etc).

:)

Get a Zowie the most used mouse in competitive CS:GO... the DeathAdder is the second most used mouse... Had both of them... The death adder gives you the best quality and sensor for the price but the drivers are pretty bad but they haven't given me any problems... The Zowie EC1-B( My current mouse ) has a similair shape to the DeathAdder, what i like about the Zowie is there is no drivers you change the DPI and polling rate on the mouse itself and the mouse is really comfortable would recommend both
