When I received the GPU, it would ramp up to over 75 degrees, and GPU-Z would show 100% utilisation of the both the GPU Load and Memory Controller Load, even if it's just idling. It would cause Windows to freeze.
I did a repaste, and the temps stabilised to 31 - 35 degrees on idle. GPU-Z reports normal utilisation. And no Windows freezing issues.
During a 3 hour session of Assetto Corsa temps went to a max of 71 degrees, and no issues with freezing etc.
I confirmed with the original owner that he bought the gpu brand new, and that the fans were not replaced. The logo on the fans is slightly off centre, I have to assume from the factory like that. I initially thought it was fan wobble that was causing the issues, but I guess Zotac's QA is not so good with regards to these cosmetic things.
It's been running in a mining rig now since Tuesday night, does 22Mh\s at 75W and temps are sitting at 65 degrees (No Core overclock, Mem overclocked to +600). No freezing, crashes etc.
But please note, I will not refund if you install this and it starts acting up again. As it is right now, it is working 100%. You are welcome to request any tests/ videos/ images.
