Problem:
The two DIMMs closest to the CPU don't work. The board is under warranty, but as RebelTech has closed down, I've been instructed to contact Rectron for an RMA. ( <-- I've no patience for this....)

So this board would be fine for you if either of the following holds true:
a) you don't mind only using 1 DIMM (as dual channel won't work as the RAM won't be paired correctly)
b) you don't mind wrestling with Rectron to get a replacement

Yes it will work. It's how I've been running it since the 1st two slots stopped working.

Rectron might be one of the easiest guys to deal with in regards to RMA. That has been my experience at least.

Locking thread. Found reason for dimms not working. Broken traces... Likely not covered by warranty.
