my hearts a flutter, I think it just skipped a beat. From the Original Mr Monster Mini rig Guy - it looks awesome!

Busy planning my build as well now.

Not sure about the rules but this is my plan so far...
The parts should be here by next week friday (Hopefully). I only have the i7, H100 & RAM so far.

Case: White Prodigy
CPU: i7 3770
MOBO: Asrock Z77E-ITX
COOLING: Corsair H100
FANS: Not sure yet... (Got a free 200mm Spectre so far)
OS: Windows 8
STORAGE: Not sure yet...
MEMORY: 2x4GB G.Skill Blue Ripjaws X 1600
GPU: Powercolor PCS+ 7950 3GB 384bit
PSU: Corsair GS700 2013 Ed
EXTRAS: White Recon, Window Panel

hehe, seems like the Asrock board is winning people over quite easily.

although I think price also has biggest role :)

did this to mine: http://www.carbonite.co.za/f26/who-good-modding-sidepannels-45230/index2.html#post303176

getting some goodies the weekend to finish it off and gonna phone to hear how much 1mm plexi would be.

I am guessing, as you see from my 1 pic, that is also why the windowed panel has the window so high.

also awaiting my custom window panel which according to delivery, should be here next week the 12th or 13th.

OTC, have you checked your local builders, mine stocks 3mm plexi and is fairly cheap, the 3mm would probably hold up better to being screwed.. heh.. being screwed.. :p

I will have a look at that gap, but I think 3 might be too thick

and "local builders".... I don't think so as they always seem to have exactly what I don't need

what's best way to smooth out, cut 2mm metal plate: filing or sanding? used 2 dremel sanding bands for a part and although it seemed to do the job nicely,
it will take a hell of a lot of bands to smooth out that whole thing.

also need a good way to not go over the marked off line when sanding :(

Here is some pictures of my build so far, just want to get a perspex side panel, then i am pretty much finished. Ohh and I am waiting for new motherboard. Any suggestions?

Ohh it's so nice and clean inside... Mine has cables going all over the place.

A question, that Huntkey PSU, is it good? I see they are quite a lot cheaper than other ones, I googled them to unfavourable opinion. Is it silent?

Very silent. But most people here would tell you not to get a Huntkey. They are not the best brand, but as long as your PC doesn't try and pull more power than the huntkey can offer, there won't be a problem :p

nice white fancontroller. ten times better than a cdrom.

when i get mine i thinking of reservoir in there if i decide to wc

File it (round file for the corners), once you on the line give it a bit of a sanding just to smooth it, best tool i can think of for cutting it out is a scroll saw, so glad i got one, super useful!!

unfortunately not all of us have our own desks you know

*cough cough*

:p

Got some spray paint and screws at the hardware store for the grills at the top. This looks a lot better in my opinion, just need to make something to cover the open spaces around the fans ;) And i took the green sticker off after seeing it on this photo :D

Are those fans intake? Is there any kind of filter? I want to find some way of putting a filter on my front fan (stock). I really don't want to get my case full of dust...

They are both exhausts (since heat rises it is the best place to put your exhaust). The water cooler is only intake into the case. Will maybe swap the front fan to intake as well, depending on tests I will run on GPU temps.

I might get a dust filter if i see the case gets too dirty too fast (i clean it out once every month or 2 with a compressor).

Look at my sig.. PICS to follow after the weekend

Here's a few of mine..phone cam :/

i7 3770k
AsRock Z77E

H100
OCZ Vertex 4 64Gb SSD & Sammy 2TB

Omf. Jealous^.

Do want. Where and how much?! Take my money!

That must've risen GPU Temps a bit though?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, all these smexy pics are making me think about doing a prodigy build :D

Am I right in saying that this mobo will fit in the prodigy?

ASUS - - ASUS MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z/GEN3

Also whats the chances I will get 2 x dual slot GFX cards in it? (Worth a try :)?)

unfortunately not

made for ITX mobo like the Asrock Z77-E ITX or the EVGA Stinger

so to that, only 1 dual slot GPU
