Your PING on Vuma and Vodacom on Fornite

Hi Peeps

Any of you on the metioned subject line.

I want to move to Vodacom as ISP but heard issues with ping being way more than my current ping to Middle east 125 from CPT.

I use exit lag when ME goes down but Vodacom has an awesome deal but a 24 month contract.

I would be very wary of Vodacom. I don't believe their network is as good as its been in the past. Especially if you signing a long contact..

Their fibre is unreliable at best, lots of packet lose complaints and their cellular speed is all over the place.

But the thing with fibre its all about a combination of things like location, fibre infrastructure provider and size of customer base in that area.

Also make sure if you have loadshedding that you will still be able to have Wifi. Where we stay the people on the Vodacom ISP route does not have fibre which is odd as I am certain they make use of the same distribution. But packet loss is a thing with them.
