Gamdias KRATOS M1-750B RGB 750W Power Supply

Hi there.

Please can someone advise on whether the above PSU is any good for the below build? or alternatively recommend a PSU to purchase with some headroom for future CPU & GPU upgrades.

specs:

Ryzen 7 2700x.
MSI B450M-A Pro MAX.
16GB RAM.
GTX 1070 8GB.
1TB M.2 Drive.

Thanks in advance! :)(y)

There are PSU's that are technically better and provide cleaner power, but from a pure power requirement, it will be more than enough.

Short answer is no, would say rather add some funds and buy something that is actually not gona nuke your pc
Thank you for the input! It is much appreciated 👊.

A PSU is the last place I would try to save money in a PC as it's vital to the stability and safety of all of your components.

So, my advice:
Don't buy anything from Evetech, ever.
Don't buy a cheap brand like Gamdias for a vital component.

Get yourself something like this. I'm running one and it's totally sufficient for my build. Probably won't power a 4090, but should cover you for most builds, it's a known and trusted brand and comes with a 5 year warranty.

The one you're looking at doesn't even mention a warranty on the product page. Yikes.

It's from Evetech so even if Gamdias offered 100 years warranty you would get expiring store credit at best

What's wrong with Evetech?

its a joke bro

Thanks for the input guys. @Baas_se_Haas I wouldn't personally skimp on a PSU. The build is for a friend of mine. Looking for the best bang for buck on a PSU and that was the cheapest atleast bronze rated PSU I found. Read one review and saw it apparently uses Andyson internals but I will rather advise him to go superflower as you guys recommend 👍

Did you see the part about not letting them buy from Evetech? Just checking.

The problem with "bang for buck" PSUs is they sometimes involve a lot of bang which leads to a lot more buck. Think of it as a prostitute vs. an escort. An escort will give you a great night. A prostitute you will remember forever when you go for your annual herpes check up.
