Item: Intel Xeon x5675 @3.4GHz 6c/12t cooled by a ML120L, Asus P6 X58D-E, 48GB (6x 8gb DDR3)
Age: Antique
Price: R4000
Warranty: Nope
Condition: Good
Location: Randburg
Reason: Upgrading to 9900k.
Shipping: Collection only!
Collection: This and only this.
MOTHERBOARD:
Asus P6 X58D-E
CPU:
Intel Xeon x5675
Reason for selling is to make space for a new beast, I used this setup as a VMware home server/lab to stuff around but before then i did some overclocking on the CPU and got it stable at 4.4GHz - really great CPU to push to the limits. I purchased this hardware not to long ago from @Gurshick - from this post Also my other half is getting fed up with all my parts and boxes everywhere.
Cons: No I/O shield and the onboard NIC is faulty but I have included a Intel dual Gigabit PCIe card for LAN connectivity. I can also throw in an old Quadro GPU if needed as the CPU does not support onboard Gfx.
FYI
