Age: Almost a year (Sealed in original box)

Packaging: Original packaging, the original box has a 3x4 cm hole that I got on delivery but the styrofoam inside didn't get damaged so the Statue is 100%
Condition: Excellent, only opened once and was on display in a dust free detolf
Location: Fourways
Reason: Upgrading to a bigger Sylvanas
Shipping: This box is quite extensive, so I'd prefer collection unless we really make a plan with shipping and you are willing to pay for it

So just, in short, I paid about R9000 for this and the shipping was another R4000 and taxes and customs were around R2500
So the overall price was about R15500.

What would you say would be a reasonable price @Enthused Dragon?
I don't really want to get lowballed on it as the shipping bent me over hard for it as well as the other statues from this series.

Honestly, if I had the cash my max that my sanity would allow me to spend on this would be around R6000.

I don't think that R8000 is out of the question for a big fan.

But I know your feeling around the shipping, import duties, etc.

I tried selling something before that I paid an arm and a leg for to import.
Unfortunately no one was willing to pay, what I considered a reasonable price.
Ended up getting about 45% of what I paid in total, which was R3500 of about R9000.

Also really depends how long you're willing to wait.

@AdromidA The market really sucks for sellers atm. I would say down like 30% from a year or two ago. At that price point you are competing with Sideshow etc which makes it even tougher.

I would recommend trying some of the Facebook groups like ACTION FIGURE TRADER SA. A lot of the bigger spenders check in there and might be more interested than here.

In my experience right now for a quick sale you need to go 50% of what you originally paid. But give it a few weeks at 7-9k on one of the Facebook groups and see what happens.

Thanks for the feedback @HelloCat, you are correct. I was thinking the exact same thing.
The after-sale market for Figurines/Statues in SA has always been pretty bad, especially from a collector stand point.
I'll try the facebook groups as well, luckily I am on most of them
