Buying the PSU, CPU and GPU new would cost you around R16k.
I would say the price is fair if all you need after is a screen, mouse and keyboard.
You will have a very enjoyable gaming experience with this PC, even at 1440p.
Maybe try knock off R600 and call it a day.

I see okay makes sense

Edit to add: Do you think the bottlenck would be very noticeable with the cpu?

I'm assuming it's second hand? Any new components, any warranty left on anything?

Compare component prices to what you see on Carb to get a sense of what a second hand system would cost. If some parts are new then of course they'd be more expensive.

Hi yes its second hand, I've updated to add more info on what's new.

The cpu motherboard and SSD are new.

Looking at that system I'm thinking you paying more for the gpu than anything else. I would probably look at something here on carb. But would look at combo for the cpu motherboard and ram and get psu and ram separately. So maybe the price ain't bad considering it's all from one place, bud do still feel you can get better cpu and mobo combo here.
